"Bulletproof" Nate Smith ft. Avril Lavigne

Interestingly 3 sections structured with pre chorus, Bulletproof starts with a laid-back feel but still enough driven Nate’s vocal, getting into a heavy chorus which also has a complex, lyric oriented structure of both melody and rhyming, like most recent country hits.  Avril sings double on the chorus which feels high energy expecting on the 2nd verse.  Yes, She’s back!  You never miss the excellent harmony line of her on the big chorus. No doubt this is a heavy hitter, power playing rock tune for everyone.

“She’s Somebody’s Daughter” Drew Baldridge

Always nice to listen to a wedding song in country music.  She’s Somebody’s Daughter starts a sensitive piano tone that expects decency of love.  Drew sings so much about the moment of the bride from a viewpoint of a daughter, more than a girl, woman or lady.  Somehow this reminds me of John Mayer’s Grammy Hit, however that wasn’t a typical wedding song, was it?  Anyway, back to Drew Baldridge, I believe this beautiful chorus may be sung in many happy weddings for good.

“It’s OK, I’m OK” Tate McRae

Oops, this kinda sensational MV let me watch instead of listen to…  Tate McRae’s It’s OK, I’m OK beats a heavy 808 rhythm which reminds me of another singer close knit Ilya, yes, he produces this one too.  Super memorable chorus must hit the street hot more than the heat of this summer.  So many girls are hot in the chart recently.  Sabrina, Tate, Who’s gonna be the next Queen?

“Dancing In The Flames” The Weeknd

Wow, this guy started such a complicated rhythm sequence.  I wonder if everyone can make it ride, some might drop off the beat.  Nobody cares?  No worries.  The Weeknd goes easy as friendly on Dancing In The Flames you realize as soon as the killer chorus starts, a bit of cynical lyrics likewise.  The production of the song also never trades off the fans with a hyer-retro synthetic pop sound.  His harmony work on vocal choruses feels so authentic and contrasting to the all synthesizers.  Pretty high level production by Max Martin.
