All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing Japanese law. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.
Key Area Co. Ltd. designs and develops Online Coaching and Tutoring Services for music producers and songwriters, sound samples and musical loops. Subject to the Customer’s acceptance of these terms and conditions of sales, these services and products are accessible through orders placed on the website. Any Order implies the prior express and unreserved acceptance by the Client of these General Conditions.
The General Conditions applicable are those in force on the date on which the order is validated by the Customer.
However, Key Area Co. Ltd. may modify the present General Conditions at any time, without prior notice, subject to informing the Customers by publishing the said modifications on the Site. Key Area Co. Ltd. will update the General Conditions by indicating the date of the last update in the upper right-hand corner of the present document.
2. Payment Methods
Key Area Co. Ltd. currently accepts your payment via PayPal and Stripe. We DO NOT accept cash, bank transfers, cheques, gift cards or any credits. The customer agrees to pay all applicable fees and charges (including any applicable taxes). All prices are unit prices.
3. Currency
All payments are made in United States dollers. You may find our Japanese website key-area.com/jp prices displayed in Japanese yen are only for our domestic customers. All customers who access from foreign countries can purchase services and products from key-area.com shop page in English.
4. Termination of Rights by Key Area Co. Ltd.
Key Area Co. Ltd. may at any time lose the right to distribute and sell selected products. Should such a case occur you will no longer be able to access and download such products from your account and they will no longer be listed in the Key Area Co. Ltd. catalogue.
5. Limitation on Sales
The Key Area Co. Ltd. online shop sells services and products to end customers only. Music dealers, distributors, wholesalers and any other businesses purchasing products in the Key Area Co. Ltd. online shop with an intent to resell them may be refused access and sale of products. Key Area Co. Ltd. may discontinue its offers on free products at any time and without notice.
Coupon codes can be used on specific items, not on sale items.
6. Intellectual property rights
Unless otherwise stated, we own the intellectual property rights in the website and material on the website. Subject to the license below, all our intellectual property rights are reserved.

9. The right to challenge a transaction
Key Area Co. Ltd. reserves the right to challenge the legal standing of a transaction under sufficient circumstances. In such case, the user will be contacted by Key Area Co. Ltd. staff individually to confirm his/her identity. Failure to verify a user’s identity will result in cancelling the challenged order. A challenged order is open for validation for 30 days after the transaction.
10. Creation of user account
To order services or products, the Customer must create an user account on the website. The Customer is entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his / her password. The Customer agrees not to use the user account, name, email or password of another person and agrees not to disclose his / her password to a third party.
Under no circumstances can Key Area Co. Ltd. be held responsible for the use of an user account by a third party who has a Customer’s password. The Customer agrees to immediately notify Key Area Co. Ltd. in the event that he suspects unauthorized use and / or theft of his password. In such a situation, the Customer must change his / her password.
11. Restricted access
Access to certain areas of our website is restricted. We reserve the right to restrict access to areas of our website, or indeed our whole website, at our discretion. If we provide you with a user ID and password to enable you to access restricted areas of our website or other content or services, you must ensure that that user ID and password is kept confidential. Ltd. or its Suppliers do not accept any liability in relation to the content of the sample or the accuracy of the description.
16. Acceptable Use Policy
1. You agree and undertake that you will not post, communicate, employ, transmit or make available to or through our website or in the course of using Key Area Co. Ltd. any statement, material, communication or other content which:
1.1.1 is unlawful or which gives rise to civil or criminal liability;
1.1.2 infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any third party;
1.1.3 in the case of uploading material using Key Area Co. Ltd. services, comprises any content other than audiovisual material related to music
1.1.4 involves exploitative behaviour, through but not limited to, third-party programs, bots, scripts or other means which are reasonably prohibited by us from time to time, or which take advantage of bugs, unintended errors, or features that have not been documented, to access restricted parts of our website or services;
1.1.5 is technically harmful such as computer viruses, worms, logic bombs or other malicious software or harmful data;
1.1.6 is aimed at persons under the age of 18 or which seeks or attempts to make any arrangement to meet a person under the age of 18;
1.1.7 is abusive, seditious, sexist, pornographic, homophobic, defamatory, libellous, discriminatory, obscene or racist;
1.1.8 harasses any person;

17. Refund Policy
If you purchased as a consumer, haven’t started attending to any online classes, downloading the product and it’s been less than 14 days since Key Area Co. Ltd. accepted your order, you can get a refund for any reason. Let us know by contacting mail@key-area.com. If you decide to participate or download the product within 14 days of purchase then you waive your right to a refund.
Beyond the 14 day period from purchase, if you have not started participating a class, downloading the product then Key Area Co. Ltd. may offer a refund at its discretion.
In there cases Key Area Co. Ltd. does not refund
– Services and Products that were purchased in an incorrect format for your system. At key-area.com we clearly state on all product pages the relevant information, in regards to a product’s system requirements. Customers bear the responsibility to have the correct knowledge of the minimum system requirements.
– Individual products that have been purchased within a Bundle+ product. Any products purchased within a Bundle+ cannot be refunded individually. A refund on the full Bundle+ will be possible within 14 days of purchase if none of the products in the Bundle have been downloaded.
All refund requests must be received within 30 days of purchase.
If you believe that you qualify for a refund, please submit a request provide us with the following information:
Your order number and your Key Area Co. Ltd. registered email address.
Any reasons for your refund request.
